AIKO Gen3 Modules
AIKO releases third generation modules only 2 years after bursting onto the market.
Offering a larger generating area, an even higher module efficiency, and 15-20 Watts per panel increase over the second generation. AIKO’s Gen 3 modules are set to be very popular this year.
New Technology
- Increased light receiving area – Precision Overlap Soldering has eliminated gaps between cells. The solar cells overlap by 0.3mm, so more electricity can be generated within the same area. This adds approximately 0.5% more sun-facing silicon. 93.5% of the solar module surface area is solar cells.
- Hidden busbars – Busbars are now at the back of the module increasing surface light reception by 1.4% and giving a fully black cell with no visible lines, for a true all-black module and larger active surface.
- Record breaking conversion efficiency – Efficiency will span 24.2% – 25.2% across the series.
- Power – Gen3 modules have 15-20W more power compared with Gen2, and 30-40W more power than TOPCon modules.
- Technology – AIKO modules have Partial Shading Optimisation technology built in – find out more about them here [link to video].
- Reliability – Superior micro-crack resistance, hail, hot-spots and fire resistance.
