BYD Mini ES 3.3kWh Battery Storage System

Intelligent storage system for self-consumption 

The MiniES by BYD is a small, intelligent system for storage of electrical energy in order to increase electricity self-consumption.   An AC-coupled PV system is used to charge the lithium ion phosphate battery. A 3-phase sensor registers energy flows at the meter. According to that the battery will charge from or discharge to the connection phase to balance the self-consumption. The emergency power function supplies loads even in the case of power grid failure.
