Since Sunsynk’s launch in the UK a few years ago this relatively new brand has become popular with solar professionals who appreciate the unique and innovative features that sets it apart.
3.6kW ECCO Hybrid
For example, take the first of their inverters to launch in the UK, the 3.6kW Hybrid which maximises energy efficiency by charging and generating at the same time. How is this possible? Well, you can connect up to 7kW’s of PV to a single unit. Normally this would be wasted in the system, but this unit is capable of exporting 3.6kW whilst at the same time using surplus to charge batteries – therefore generating power as well as charging.
The 3.6kW ECCO is perfect for larger houses that can take more than 4kWp of PV and if higher power grid connection is an issue.
5.0kW & 8.0kW ECCO Hybrid
Then there are the 5.0kW and 8.0kW hybrid inverters. As with the other Sunsynk inverters power can be managed from various energy sources, including solar panels, batteries, the national grid, a generator or even a wind turbine. Multiple units can also be installed on the same site and with connection of up to 16x 5.12kWh batteries to a single inverter!
16kW Hybrid MONSTER!
Not long ago Sunsynk released a monster – the 16kW single-phase hybrid inverter and it’s the biggest addition to Sunsynk’s low voltage single-phase range.
In terms of functionality, compatibility, and related accessories, it’s similar to the 5.0kW & 8.0kW devices but this one is particularly suited to large domestic and small commercial installations. “It’s the biggest single phase all-in-one inverter with everything built in, in the world”, Keith Gough, Sunsynk CEO. A true monster!
5.12kWh Battery
Last but not least, the 5.12kWh battery is made of cells produced by CATL, one of the world’s biggest battery cell producers. They supply prestige car brands such as BMW, Daimler AG, Tesla, so you can be assured of high quality.
It’s also has an impressive 100% DoD, 5.12kW max discharge power, and a standard 5-year product warranty but when installed with a Sunsynk inverter the warranty is doubled to 10-years!
